Review content:
I received unprofessional and discourteous behavior from receptionist. Given my explanations for no attending my child first appointment to Dental Park Practice (an inconvenience with my mother at the hospital) however, what has really made it unpleasant is the unaccommodating and impolite message left in my cell phone by the receptionist stating that my son was out of the list for treatment and to never call back the office because I missed the appointment and did not call to cancel ahead of time, not only that but her tone of voice was very rude stating that I was impolite, disrespectful and rude to the dentist) “ A dentist I never had the opportunity to meet”. When I call to provide my reasons for not attending the appointment and check on whether I will be able to make a new appointment the receptionist didn’t even let me talk –her next sentence was “I lost my mother and what we all have cell phones and you were supposed to call and cancel, I charged you $75 dollars for not cancelling on time”. She was very brusque, judgmental and hypercritical. I told her that I understand the dentist have other patients but unfortunate I did not have my cell on hand, I repeated it to her that it was an emergency and my concern at that time was my mother health. The receptionist kept on telling me I was rude, disrespectful, I should it call ahead of time and that she really didn’t care but everyone has a cell phone. The women kept talking with a nasty attitude and rude tone of voice. I was astonished by the way the women have been impolite, discourteous and offensive. I feel this type of behavior on her part is completely unwarranted and unethical and especially at a dental center where they treat adults and children. Now, I am not confident about their patience and professionalism to deal with children. Unfortunate, the receptionist gives a sense of what to expect from the rest of the staff. I
