Review content:
I love their chocolate covered marshmallows. They are to die for. Especially the maple ones.
That said, if you actually go to the store to buy them, I have found the staff not so friendly. And don't even think about bringing your kids with you, even if they are well-behaved. The last time I went in, I had my kids with me and the staff made us feel extremely unwelcome.
As soon as we walked in, a staff member came around the counter to the front, not to greet us or offer assistance, but to stare intently at my child as if he were about to steal something. Then, my five year old was literally just standing there calmly, looking at some candy and they told me that I had to hold his hand. They got irritated when my son touched the glass. Then as I was paying, he went to peek in the bag to look at his chocolate and the counterperson snapped at him and grabbed it out of his hand. Apparently it was someone else's bag.
While I respect that some kids have probably damaged some of their goods in the past, they should realize that by treating anyone under 20 as a criminal in their shop, they are making customers feel unwelcome. I have only mentioned part of their nastiness here, but suffice it to say that I went in happy and left feeling like I could cry. My husband was so annoyed with their nastiness that he never wants to buy anything from there again. I write this review in hopes that they will change their ways.
