The Escapist nearly has EVERYTHING, old, new, vintage, floppy, paperback, hardcover, bigtime, indy, weird, retro, heroes/villains with capes and planet earth cape-free.
Bizarre comfy egg chair, knowledgable staff, friendly tortoise shell cats, free "escapist keys" while they last, free parking seven bicycle minutes downhill from UCB campus, next to the astonishing DARK CARNIVAL BOOKSTORE. Free Comic Day 2011 is May 7th. There's a player piano. Demonstrations on request :D Theyre threatening to put in a coffin full of sale comics. Honest! Berkeley's oldest (well, at the time of this review) ONLY comic book store. Shop here!
