Friendly, affordable, comfortable We waited until the last minute to make New Year's Eve reservations in Fredericksburg, and we wanted something affordable, so we called Sunday House. The person taking our reservation, the person at the check-in desk, and the person in the breakfast room all were friendly and warm in a sincere, small town way - very refreshing after staying at a number of chain motels along the interstate at Christmas. The bed was comfortable, and the room was amazingly quiet (even compared to more expensive, newer hotels where we've stayed), clean, and tastefully appointed. We'll definitely be back!
