Businiess name:  Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Benjamin C. Asseff
Review by:  Gina W.
Review content:
I would prefer no stars for Michael, but it is not an option. My husband and I were very clear with our investment strategy. We had successfully purchased two pieces of real estate through a self-directed IRA and were very clear with Michael that we wished to purchase another. He either flat out lied or didn't know (or a bit of both) that Edward Jones was going to be able to help us with our 3rd property. I repeat, we were very clear as to how our money was going to be invested - there could have not been a misunderstanding on his part. At no time did he ever say "Hmmmmmmm... let me check on that as I'm not sure." No, he told us emphatically that Edward Jones was going to be able to accomplish what we desired. Two days prior to closing on our 3rd property, Michael called to explain that Edward Jones was not capable of this type of transaction. A wild scramble to transfer our funds to Equity Trust (an amazing company by the way) ensued - all fees on us, by the way. You can trust him as far as you can throw him. Run - do not walk - elsewhere
