Review content:
Restauranteur Stephen Starr's first big success story, The Continental at 2nd & Market is one of my favorite places in the world! The martini bar is unrivaled in its creative cocktails and consistently well-shaken standards.
The cosmopolitans are some of the best I've ever had. The drink menu is inventive and compelling. I've tried almost every drink on it. The hummus appetizer and the teriyake petite filet mignon over wasabi mashed potatoes are my "go to" dishes. For dessert, save room for the Fluffer Nutter.... a dreamy twist on an old-fashioned treat.
The crowd is decidedly fashionable and hip. The service is smooth and the servers are clad in head-to-toe black.... also very hip.
The Continental has now been replicated in Center City as The Continental Midtown.
Fab night out.
