My experience started out well with several appointments to have new fillings put in. I didn't experience any problems until my root canal. First, the dentist argued with me because I told him I was allergic to acetaminophen and he gave me a medicine containing this. I asked the pharmacist and she verified that I was allergic to this med as well as the antibiotic he prescribed with it. He either did not read my chart or does not know what medicines he is prescribing. Apparently, he never read that I was anemic in my chart either and let me bleed for about half an hour drowning in my own blood when I went in for the crown on the root canal. My gums never healed right after that and I experience constant pain in that tooth now even though it shouldn't have any nerves. I switched to another dentist at this same practice who convinced me to have my wisdom teeth taken out. I took 5 days off from work to recover because I knew they would not give me pain medicine after the root canal fiasco. This dentist argued with me and told me that he could only remove one of the teeth on the day of the appointment. I made it clear that I could not take another 5 days off from work so he needed to take out both teeth and he reluctantly agreed to do so. Next, they repeatedly billed me for the extraction of these teeth even after I called with the insurance company on the line to verify with their office that they had already been paid. My overall experience was a complete nightmare.
