Though I can't speak for anyone else's experiences, I was quite surprised to read some of the reviews on citysearch regarding sassouni management. I just resigned my lease for a second year in my east village 1 bedroom aparrment. Firstly, the apartment is fantastic. I absolutley love it and will never move out. It is in great condition, and it is apparent that it has been well maintained over the years. Beyond that, any problem I've ever had has been remedied in a very timely fasion. Many thanks to Tony for that! Though few and far between, here is an example: Shortly after I moved in I had a problem with my oven. Tony came ande checked it out and resolved that it would be more cost effective to replace the oven than to try to repair it. Two days later I had a brand new stove. As far as the management themselves, paying rent, appointments at the office, etc...i have to admit that Ive been equally satisfied. My calls are always returned in a timely fashion. And I've been able to sit down and talk to Ambi, she seems to be in charge of my building's goings-on, many times to discuss anything about which i've needed clarification. She has very helpful a number of times over the past year. As aforementioned, I've just resigned for another year. the process was fast and easy. Very straightforward. I was offered help understanding everything that I was signing. They were even happy to work with me though I make less, I'm quite sure, than other applicants who looked at the same apartment. I've found that I've established a nice rapport with Sassouni, and it has simply been smooth sailing since day one. Well Done!
