Review content:
This is a unique establishment with a lot of personality. Which is a style that works for me; I've been going there since I returned to AK in 2006. Went in for my 3rd highlight with current student Liz S., who is by the way, a color superstar. I am all shades of particular about how I want my hair, and kind of a neurotic customer to begin with and she and Sue always make me feel welcome, listen closely to what I want and deliver. Liz does great work and makes what could be a tedious and/or perilous procedure more like a day at the spa with friends.
Pros: value, friendly, quirky atmosphere
Cons: they have limited space, embrace it or go elsewhere
