After calling 4 different places & 3 getting quotes (one guy didn’t bother to show up), I decided to go with Fast Water Heaters. Ivan did a great job & a very thorough inspection. He kept my property very clean from start to finish. He swept the debris that had accumulated around my outdoor water heater as well as hauled away the old water heater, valve & pipes that were replaced. He didn't quote me for or charge me for additional items that weren't necessary like the other quotes I received. Also he included other things that the other companies didn’t catch like running the overflow pipe to the ground so if it blew up or whatever, hot water wouldn’t spray in my face, it would go to the ground. That wasn’t in any of the other quotes or mentioned in any of the other inspections. I felt he tried to do the best he could with the pricing while staying within the limits of the companies pricing. I did find them to be a bit costly, although they came under the other quotes I received... Maybe water heater replacement is really that costly across the board. Still I probably could have found it cheaper but then again who knows what kind of work would have been done. & after calling 4 places, I felt my due diligence was done. I was extremely happy with the look & cleanliness of the work completed.
Ivan had warned me about the possibility of sediment being trapped in the pipes because of my house having old galvanized piping, which did happen, leading me to call a plumber to get hot water to run into my bath the next day. But at least I was aware of the possible problem. & honestly, there was not that much debris to be cleaned out. I do wish they could have done the plumbing work as well, 1 stop shopping you know & it would have saved me the hassle of finding a plumber the next morning. All in all Ivan was professional, courteous, & got the job done promptly & correctly. I am very happy with the work completed.
