Review content:
Here's another best-kept-secret in Johnston - the ultimate Fish Market. The guys who own and operate this market are friendly, helpful and will even let you play with the lobsters if you're so inclined.
They carry a wide assortment of fresh seafood, and a so-fresh-it-jumps snail salad, among other things. They also carry Venda's Lobster ravioli and it's CHEAPER than buying it directly form Venda. The Fish Market has an assortment of prepared foods available for purchase and on days when you don't feel like cooking, that's a good thing.
Also worthy of mentioning - at Christmas-time they get so busy they hire a Police Detail. Now that's impressive for a modest local market. And if your dog gets stolen - like mine did - they'll offer help and then celebrate when it's recovered by the police - like they did when our dog was found.
What other Fish Market can do all that?!
