Review content:
The Dumb Friends League of Denver, has been caring for lost or abandoned animals for over ninety years, and is a non-profit organization that welcomes all animals into its shelter. If you are looking for a pet, skip the pet shop, forget the pedigree and get a dog or cat with a personality. Rescue a lost animal today and give them a warm loving home.
The reason for the name is from the book, Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. She writes, “We call them dumb animals…for they cannot tell us how they feel, but they do not suffer less because they have no words.”
The Dumb Friends League has two locations. One is located in East Denver and one is in Castle Rock. So, go get a pet today and give an animal hope.
