Review content:
I just returned from a ski trip and it was certainly one of the best I've ever been on thanks in part to this motel. When I first looked at the place on the internet, I didn't know what to expect. I was prepared to sleep in a small, filthy room. Boy was I surprised. The rooms are larger than most Marriott rooms and they were very clean. Yes, the rooms did look antiquated, but that just added to the New England charm. The old-fashioned radiator was perfect for setting wet gloves and boots on. The staff was very friendly and made you feel right at home. Although we did not go swimming, we looked around the pool building. The pool was almost too hot, the steam room and sauna looked very clean, and it looked like they even had a massage room (all of which surprised me because this place is classified as a MOTEL). A short drive away is are two great restaurants, Thai Bamboo and The Chelsea Royal Diner. I am already thinking about going back this summer! I would recommend this place to anybody.
