I have had inconsistent service over the nine months I have gone to the salon. Angela is extremely skilled and has a great eye for finding the right hair color -- especially if you would like to make a change. She also does very nice Ouidad haircuts for curly hair.
However, she tends to run late (the first time I was there, I waited 30- 40 minutes beyond my appointment time), and if she is busy, or other things are happening in the salon, she can get distracted. During my last appointment several things occurred during my cut/color that took her away from the process. As she ran late, she ended up doing a men's cut and starting the color of another person while I was there. I was essentially "abandoned" at the shampoo sink and later under the dryer, while she accommodated other guests so that there would not be too much of a back-up. What normally took two hours lasted three, and it was evident that we were both frustrated by the experience. My cut is a little crooked because of the rush, and I am hoping with a little regrowth and several good shampoos that the style will mellow a bit.
With that said, I still would recommend Angela because she can, and has, delivered a quality product. Other appointments have been great. Just make sure that when scheduling mention any quirks that your hair may have so that they can allow enough time, and try to schedule during less busy times of the day so that you can get her full attention.
