We are relatively new in town and up until recently did not have the need to seek out a reputable auto mechanic for service work beyond routine oil changes, tires, or brakes. Jay-O's was recommended to me.
As a result of our experience with Jay-O's, we would prefer that he perform all of our auto repair and maintenance needs.
Rather than jump right into what was likely to be a relatively expensive repair, he took the time to make sure that the diagnosis was correct by asking us questions regarding the performance of the vehicle, test driving and ruling out other possible solutions. The result was that he did exactly what was needed to be done, and nothing more. And the expense was very reasonable and in line.
From our first experience with Jay-O's, I can certainly see why he was recommended. It is clear that he values his customers, and is focused on getting the job done correctly, with the goal of minimizing customer expense, as opposed to maximizing revenues.
It is a good feeling to have a mechanic that you can trust.
