I will never use the Service Dept here again. They committed two fraudulent acts. The first was doctoring the original estimate for work, by handwriting in a number higher than they had originally quoted, and then performing work that I had not authorized. I fought with the head of the service department and then the owner, both of whom were unapologetic and refused to admit any wrongdoing. Clearly they recognized there was a problem though, as they cut 50% off the unauthorized work while being extremely disrespectful and telling me to never come back. However, it became clear soon after driving the car that some of the work was not even done. I do not post such a blunt review lightly, but the Service Department here should be avoided at all costs. And to put it as politely as possible, Volkswagen of Orland Park is far from a high-class operation, and should be avoided entirely. As an update: I have been contacted by people I can only assume are representatives of the company since this original posting and they have made no offer of restitution, only further insults and overall poor behavior. Is there a way you can give a company 0 stars?
