I rather enjoy Michael's. I spend a good amount of my crafting money there, and the only time I'm not happy about it is when I go crazy buying all the wonderful supplies and spend more than planned as the result. Sometimes the employees are grumpy, but usually when dealing with grumpy/rude customers, everyone is entitled to a bad day (you are, why can't they!?). I would never expect that every product I buy at there is going to work perfectly, and when it doesn't, I don't blame Michael's, I talk to the manufacturer who made the product, not the store who sold it. Michael's has been wonderful to me, and I would suspect that if you go there yourself and don't act like a jerk to the employees they will be just as wonderful to you too.
