The contact that I gave his lab to be clean, was not the contact that I received back. It was a completely different contact. And although I am confident it was a complete accident, I was disappointed that I was required to purchase a replacement contact and pay the lab fee. I also felt like the office and the lab unfairly blamed me for the accident, by asking if I had mixed up my contact with a friend or relative. I felt betrayed that Dr. Schober assumed it was 100% my fault, and angry that I had to pay for a contact I felt was mixed up at their lab; while still paying the lab fee. I felt a fair compromise would be to reimburse me for the lab fee or replace the contact, not make me pay for both.
