Macon's Sanitation is owned and operated by the Macon family. They have owned this business for years. My mom has always used them, and when I married and moved into my own home, I used them. They are so reliable if your trash pick-up day falls on a holiday, they still pick-up!
After we moved away, we rented our home out. When our last tenants moved out, they left a big mess. They took many cans and bags of trash to the road for pick-up, but canceled their pick-up service too early, and neighborhood dogs got into the trash and tore and drug it all over the yard. We live 4 hours away, so it wasn't feasible for us to drive up there to clean it up, so I called Macon Sanitation. They told me they would drive out there and look at the job and call and give me an amount. They drove out there the same day and called me back and said they would do a one-time pick-up for $20. The neighbors had called and said trash was everywhere, so I know this was a big mess and probably worth a lot more than $20. I mailed my check right away, but they went ahead and did the pick-up before receiving payment from me. I was more than thrilled at the excellent service they provided.
