Review content:
In March, I wanted a trim as I was letting my hair grow out. I passed the sign for Jody's every time I went into town and thought since it was just a trim, I would give them a try. I made the appointment and was told I could come in the next day. When I arrived, I was put off because the shop is in a little rundown house that didn't look well kept. The grass was tall and unkempt, the screen door was hanging a little crooked and it smelled old and musty inside. I almost turned around and left, but she greeted me as soon as I walked in and I just couldn't walk out without feeling rude. She told me to come and have a seat and never even offered to wash my hair. She did spray it heavily with a water bottle. One side of my hair curls out and she cut that side much shorter than the other side to remedy that, but all that did was make it curl up more. She did very little cutting anywhere else, and left me looking like a drowned rat with my wet, unstyled crooked hair cut. She charged $15 for that. I payed, but left no tip and went a couple days later to get my hair cut again. They had to cut it much shorter to undo the "repair job" she did.
