Springfield, PA Delicatessens - Springfield, PA Pizza Restaurants 03/23/11: 'NOT FOR OUR FAMILY'
I visited the Baltimore Pike location a few times and I regreted the last time as much as I regreted the first time. Ask why did I bother going back and spending my hard earned money?? Well all family owned businesses in America deserve second chances... Patriotism right?? My family paid the consequences for attempting to support this business (Never again, my son is still confused to why his fries tasted like burnt old grease which turned his stomach)
I had 22.00 left for eating out until next payday and my family decided to try Slack's one last time. I ordered three sandwiches for us and a order of fries for my 6 year old.
I was the only customer in this store on a week night and the employees old and young were more busy clowning with each other and using words I would not use in front of one customer. The fries were burnt and beyond horrible and the sandwiches with dried old meat left in our opinion shamed the Philadelphia suburbs to be associated with Philly cheese steaks
In this business you never know who that guy or gal is on the other side of the counter you are waiting on. Come on America stop treating customers on how they are dressed and look and treat each customer that brings their hard earned money into your establishment with due diligence .
