First of all let me say this, I am not a bitchy mid-life crisis complainer as people that tend to write negative reviews are and who are just looking for anything to complain about, I am a young professional whose own career is in the service industry where the customers appreciation/comfort is of the utmost concern. I went to Coral West Dental for a teeth cleaning last fall and set up an appointment for 4 fillings. I had to call and cancel the appointment for my first two fillings because I realized I had used up my dental insurance for the year and needed to wait until after January. So I rescheduled, at least 2 weeks in advance. Then, I became sick with a terrible sinus infection before my appointment, which obviously would make dental work practically impossible with a runny nose, barely able to breathe so had to cancel again, 2 days in advance which is what is asked for and respectful. Finally the day of my appointment I called to let them know I was running late, I have had bad reactions to novacaine in the past where my eye started spasming and I have had MAJOR panic attacks so I had to turn around to get an anxiety pill to make it through the appointment. The woman who answered then transferred me to a dental assistant who asked if I had a question about today's treatment, I said yes I am running late and let her know of my bad anxiety and asked if it would be possible that we only did one filling instead of two. She replied with, well we scheduled you out for 60 minutes and you have cancelled this appointment already before and now you are running late. Again, I explained the situation and she was so hostile and made it seem that all they cared about was my money, her attitude made my anxiety even worse, because now, when I was already nervous I was supposed to go let someone with a negative/mean attitude drill into my mouth and numb me up? I don't think so! I told the woman on the phone that I did not feel comfortable coming in at all anymore and have since scheduled at Design Dental in North Liberty wh
