If you are ever in Clanton, Strength's Country Cafe is a must try! They have a regular menu along with a daily special. The daily special does not change from week to week, for instance Friday is a seafood day, and Thursday's special is Chicken and Dressing. The chicken and dressing is my personal favorite. It is better than my grandmother's and that is saying a lot! I have had it many places, but no one has come close to beating Strengths. My husband's favorite is the meatloaf. The meals are fairly inexpensive. You can eat for about $7.50 including your meal, drink, dessert,tax and tip. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. You can also call in an order if you need to get it to go. This is one of the best restaurants in Clanton!
