Review content:
The quiet environment at Somer’s is a refreshing change from the bright noisy national video chains. There’s a bunch of interesting antiques in the back to look at, and it has pictures of houses in town from when Somer’s was in its heyday (apparently it used the town’s hot spot). Somer’s is especially fun during Halloween – they have a bunch of unique Halloween movies and they usually give you a great deal (something like rent 10 Halloween movies for a dollar each). They have a lot of old VHS movies and some new DVDs (but maybe not as many as you’d find at a big chain). It’s probably not a store that you’d use as your primary rental place, but it has a ton of character and it’s good if you want a change.
