Review content:
Las Rosas overall is a great restaurant and one I would recommend. Our neighbors absolutely love it and eat there once a week, however we are more the once a month because of location type eaters. The food is typical tex-mex mexican and depending on what you get is very good. They seem to excel in the more non-traditional plates such as the seafood enchiladas, and fish taco. There burritos are good but nothing to write home about.
The margaritas are very good as well as the green sauce they have for their chips.
It has a good ambiance throughout the restaurant and the majority of the waiters are very friendly. There is never a long wait and they are very efficient in getting their food out.
My only concern with this restaurant is that sometimes it appears that it isn't the cleanest. My husband's glass once had lipstick still on it, and we have seen a roach before. However, every restaurant has this but it isn't always visible. We still return though. It is definitely a place to at least try once...good Mexican for the Katy area!
