Review content:
Opium has a small storage room on 30th/Fern and we were walking by one day and spotted these interesting cathedral-like stained glass room dividers, so we decided to go to the store on Market to scope them out.
I originally thought they were antique, but after talking to the store owner, he told me that they have them custom designed by their artisans (and modeled after an antique piece) in Indonesia. In fact, all of their furniture is made and imported from Indonesia. So none of that generic, chain retailer stuff from them...and best of all, it's actually real wood! They can even do custom orders with your specifications too, and while this is not entirely rare, the fact that the prices are so reasonable makes it rare indeed.
They have a good selection of dining tables, bookshelves, and sideboards, as well as a number of interesting accoutrements that would make beautiful gifts. Staff is very friendly.
