It took six weeks and three calls from my doctor to get the appointment with a gyn.
I waited in the waiting room for almost two hours. I was told this was because my appointment was a different time then I had been told. I dislike being misinformend.
Even if the time was the second appointment time, I was still seen almost and hour later. To give my history in a hallway next to a copier. Then in the room for another nice wait.
When I finally saw the doctor he spent less then 15 minutes with me and did not even pretend to be interested in me or my problem.
The feeling that I was an annoyance rather then a patient to this man was reinforced when he interrupted what I was saying to dictate his notes on me (yep that was part of the 15 minutes or less he was in the room).
They might be technically competent but given the lack of actual concern I am never going back. They might mistake me for the copier.
