Review content:
We had a wonderful stay at Arnott's. We rented a room with private bath. The room was clean and attractive, had access to a kitchen just a step or two away, and a lovely garden where we ate our breakfast most mornings. They have inexpensive access to the Internet so that we could update our friends about our adventures. We enjoyed the pocket beach too. And of course, it was very inexpensive.
To our surprise, our reservations included a free pizza and beer feed. My husband, who had not been to a hostel before, loved staying up late that night drinking beer and arguing politics with backpackers from around the world.
It is not true, as one other reviewer said, that "you could do the tours yourself with a rental car." We took the lava hike, and at least the day we went, there was no way someone looking for lava on their own would ever have found it.
