Review content:
Being in college, the occasional illness is something that is fairly commonplace. In my worst bout (in the realm of not walking, talking, eating, or sleeping) I decided to go to Allina to try to figure out what was wrong with me. The waits to get in for an appointment were quite long, and they required several return visits (when the effort of walking across campus to get on Northfield Transit was enough to completely exhaust me) in an attempt to diagnose me. In addition, the doctor I got (started with a V, sorry I can't remember it) was very creepy, just came in to the examination room, sat down across from me, and just stared for a couple of minutes...getting answers from him was like pulling teeth. On top of this, they never figured out what was wrong with me (it passed in about two weeks) nor did they bother to even contact me to let me know about test results (I had to keep calling them to badger them). The only positive was that they are fairly easy to deal with as a new patient...getting set up with insurance and whatnot is not overly difficult. I would say avoid Allina though except as a last resort.
