I've rarely written any reviews before but I feel like this spa and its employees should be recognized for their excellence. I'm a bargain hunter but I'm also very demanding of both quality and service - this spa surpasses all expectations in all areas!
Staff:
The owner, Jennifer, is an absolute delight. She is always smiling and always makes you feel like she'll do whatever she can to meet your needs. I can only imagine that running a spa must come with a lot of responsibility and stress but you never sense that with Jennifer. She is very knowledgeable and seems to really care about her staff and treat them with respect. I've had treatments from nearly all of the staff members at ASBS and they are amazing - not only are they professional, smart, experienced, very knowledgeable, and honest, they are also fun, friendly, and willing to answer any questions and give you advise without feeling like they are pushing products or services on you. What I also value in the ASBS staff is that they all have a tremendous amount of respect for each other - I always hear them saying great things about each other which is something you don't often find in spas (I've had numerous staff members at other spas bad mouth each other or other spas - just an ugly tone and environment). I always have a comfortable and relaxing experience when I'm at ASBA and walk out feeling great.
Treatments:
I've had a lot of different treatments here and what I like is that I can buy packages for discounts or one-offs and the staff is great at advising based on an overall approach and objective. I've had microderms, peels, sudotonics, synergy, etc., and lash extensions too. My extensions didn't last long (I probably have oily lashes) so I likely won't do them again (and they seemed to clump up/together in areas with the glue) but it was a good experience and they looked fantastic while they lasted. The synergies, sudotonics, peels, etc. all worked wonderfully and just as expected (they never make false promises).
This is a great spa with fantastic prices - especially if you compare them to other spas. This isn't a pretentious spa where you are paying for burning incenses and candles and meditation music playing in the background - this is a very relaxing, soothing, peaceful experience where the professional and highly skilled staff take pride in their work and the clients always seem happy - I'm thrilled!
