This is the place to see the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Like the Aronoff Center, this is a very formal setting, perfectly matching the shows while are offered. I’ve been on numerous occasions, as frequently offer student discounts on the day of shows that haven’t sold out. I’ve seen the CSO by themselves and have also seen the Cincinnati Pops with the swing band, Big Bag Voodoo Daddy. Both shows were good in their own right, although I did prefer the swing band show. The acoustics are unreal…amazing. The seating is the downfall to this wonderful venue. The seats feel real crammed together. It seems like they are trying to fit as many in as possible (similar to coach on a major airline, except made out of wood).
