Review content:
This 1,000- acre park is located on a bay off the Potomac River in Fairfax County. It is a great place to rent a canoe, kayak or pedal boat and get out on the water! Explore the park's marsh area or head out to the Potomac and paddle past Gunston Hall.
A good spot for fishing... largemouth bass and catfish can be caught year round in the Potomac Rivery. Perch fishing peaks in the spring. Striped bass also can be found in early spring but peak in the fall.
Besides boating, the park also offers rental pavilions, a huge swimming pool, campgrounds, rental cabins, and a golf course.
Supplies are available in the camp store.
