I've had two opportunities to enjoy the work of "Catering With a Twist". My first experience was at a friend's wedding. Now don't get me wrong, it was a great wedding and I had a great time dancing and laughing with friends, but the dinner was the highlight for me. I bet I talked about the prime rib for the next two weeks. I even did something I never do: I made a point to sneak back into the kitchen to meet and compliment the chef, Kassie. We chatted for a few minutes and I casually asked if she ever did smaller, less formal events. I had been planning a get together with some friends and thought maybe I'd suprise them with some truly good food instead of just a bowl of chips and some dip.
Long story short - I brought in "Catering with a Twist" for the party I was hosting and she did great. The interesting thing to note is the kind of party I was hosting. It was a "Guy's Night" type of party, so we were in need of some serious "stick-to-your-ribs" eats and lots of it. Kassie cooked up what I would call gourmet man food. Instead of just boring old burgers, she made these mini-sliders with filet mignon and pepper crusted bacon. Amazing! She made some deep fried macaroni balls with these special spicy breadcrumbs and some fancy cheese that I can't even pronounce that blew us away.
Simply put, "Catering with a Twist" is top notch. Amazing food and you couldn't ask for a nicer person to work with than Kassie.
