Businiess name:  Babalu Bob's Cuban Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I grew up on Cuban food, cruised greater Miami's Calle Ocho, and lived in New Orleans for 12 years. All of this did not prepare me for the treat that was in store at Babalu Bob's. I had the Picadillo a la Jardiniera with black beans on the side, along with and nibbles of the croquetas de jamon, yuca, and arroz con pollo. A perfect flan topped off a perfect meal. A Cuban family restaurant of this caliber would be an oasis anywhere; all the more so in this neck of the woods, where the second-best Hispanic restaurant within a 50-mile radius is a Cuco's. From the Berkshires, the Poconos, or New York City, it's worth the trip. Pros: Very personal service. Cons: No alcohol (not a con for me)
