I went to David's Bridal-Mid Rivers over the weekend, and my mom and I had a wonderful time. We picked out my shoes, a flower-feather piece for my hair and was ready for the fitting right on time.
I originally bought my dress there a few months back.
My dress is beautiful and now it will fit my 5-foot-frame like a glove! She took her time making sure to measure and pin just right. She was patient with me, listening to my wish list. She made me laugh and relax, and I have 100% confidence in her abilities to transform my dress. She is working to adjust the dress to just my size -- and even add in a few secrets to make my body look even better -- and I'll be able to shimmy all night long without ever having to worry about pulling at it or adjusting it. I will wear the dress instead of it wearing me! I'm confident it will look beautiful and she'll do a wonderful job shortening it and adjusting it here and there just right, and if I do lose a couple more lbs, she said it won't be a problem to re-adjust it again.
It is so nice to have a worry-free feeling about the way I will look on my wedding day! Cheers and best wishes to all the other brides out there for a fun wedding planning and dress shopping experience!
