Im a person who likes to do my own repairs and improvements. I've developed a healthy weariness in seeking out plumbers, particularly when in dire need.
I generally only seek out contractors when I absolutely need them - this was one of those situations.
Our kitchen and laundry drain in our small home had clogged, causing an abrupt end to cooking and cleaning. Armed with 2 different 25' drill-snakes
I spent all Thursday night trying to clear the line. It wasn't working and I dreaded the idea of trying to find someone on a Friday - the last day before the weekend (and higher rates).
Armed with plenty of experience- both good and bad- I did some research and found Red Roo with some genuinely good reviews. I called up Dave first thing Friday morning and he found a way to make it over - even moving some other appointments around to make it happen.
Since I had to work, my wife was going to have and deal with whatever might pop-up. Thankfully, I made a good choice in choosing him, because my wife reported that he was very clean- taking off his shoes voluntarily, explained what the problem was, quickly dealt with it, and was generally very nice and friendly.
If you are reading this it might be because you are in a similar situation-
Obviously, I can't guarantee that you'll have the same good experience with Red Roo as I did, but I'd be surprised if you didn't.
