Review content:
We hired Bill Page to DJ for our wedding and reception, and were very displeased with his performance. I wanted to exit the ceremony 4 seconds into a specific song, and we had discussed this issue in particular in planning the event. He agreed to do it, but when the time came for the big exit, he played the song from the beginning, ruining the only musical moment I actually cared about for my ceremony!
I had given him a NO PLAY list for the reception, which he ignored. He even played one of those songs twice! He took things into his own hands when it came time for a special toast, totally ignoring everything that I had told him I wanted done, and telling guests the way he was doing it was what I had requested. The results were disastrous. This man is of the mindset that he's the DJ, and he'll do it his way (but he'll give you plenty of lip service when you are planning to make you think otherwise). Don't hire Bill Page if you really care about the music YOU want for your special event.
