Businiess name:  La Villa Salon

Review content:
I originally decided to try La Villa because it was touted as the original place for GlitterToes. I decided to try it since I was due for a mani/pedi, facial, and eyebrow wax. I figured, while I was there, I'd throw in a massage. The salon is no longer called La Villa. It has changed management and is called A New You (or something like that). The salon itself is nice, but that's where the positives ended. I started with the massage. The girl doing it seemed very inexperienced and used way too much pressure (despite my request that she "lighten up"). My neck and shoulders are still sore two days later! After my massage, I waited for a while before someone came and got me for my manicure. The girl didn't tell me her name, and did the quickest, most unprofessional manicure I've ever had. She didn't touch my cuticles and my nails look like my 6-year-old painted them. Next was time for the GlitterToes. Now, I will say that the toes turned out SO cute, but I won't go back there again to have them done. The girl dropped tools on the floor and shared tools with the girl next to her, who was also working on a client. Gross! My pedicure followed and, again, was a disappointment. No cuticle work at all and I was left with jagged skin on my heels. I finished the appointment with a facial and eye brow wax. The facial was GREAT... one of the best I've had. But the brow wax was a mess. I didn't notice how horrible it was until I got to the car, but wow.... I had to do a major salvage job at home with the tweezers. So, I left "A New You" $250 poorer, with a sore neck, a messy fingernail job, rough heels, and horribly uneven eyebrows.... But hey, my glittery toes look great! Not great enough to go back though. Pros: Facial was wonderful! Cons: Everything else (wax, massage, pedicure, manicure) awful
