WOW, WOW and WOW!! Hands down the best facial I have ever had (and I have had plently). I searched high and low for a new place to have my facials done since the lady who use to do mine moved out of town. It had been 6 months since I had one, and I wld normally go once a month. I had tried a couple new places and did not have good experiences so I just stopped COLD TURKEY!! You know what I am talking about ladies. That oh my gosh experience where it terrifies you to even think of putting you face through another one of "those facial nightmares" ! So needless to say my skin had reached the SOS status. So of course I came right online and checked my most reliable resource (CitySearch). After actually 1 week of research (hey what can I say choosing a esthetician should be like chosing a doctor) I decided to go with DD, which turned out to be the best decision I ever made as far as choosing a great Esthetician. From the moment I called and talked to Jeff, who is Deborah's. husband I knew I would be in great hands. And since I did my research I requested the QUEEN herself (Deb). I made my appt. and when I arrived 2 days later, I walked into a wonderfully small and quaint salon. No yelling hair dressers across the room, no hustle and bustle. Just calm, which is a huge plus for me. Jeff greeted me and really talked to me about the salon and Deborah's training and how she strives to be the best at her profession. Because she wants to give that to all her clients who walk through the door. When it was time for my facial I went into a calm, serene room and Deborah came in. She talked to me about my skin and my concerns, but I will tell you one thing after my first sentence she was always 2 steps ahead of me like she knew exactly what I was going to say. She is NO JOKE, she is truly about SKIN CARE. Speaking of which her skin is flawless and I believe when you put your skin in someone else's hands, their skin should reflect how you would like yours to be. Now one of the things I liked most about this spa is that Deborah using a few different skin carelines, not just one. Now you may think ohhhhhhhh.. But wait think about it is all skin the same? No. So truly what works for one, may not work for another! You feeling me on this one. So for the next hour I placed my skin in her hands, she is a master of her art and I can't truly say enough about her. I had a Tru facial, which consisted of deep cleansing, extractions, facial massage(oh my gosh!!), hand treatment, masking, and moisture. When she finished my facial I could definitely see an immediate difference. My skin felt and looked amazingly smooth, very, very clean and it GLOWED. And my little problem areas on my skin were no longer problems. Which has never happened before, it was like I never had a facial before. Once finished and based on my skin and what Deborah learned about it during the facial she recommended the proper produts for my skin (not everybody's skin) Mine, Mine, Mine!! :o) . Now another amazing thing about this spa is that they have kits with smaller versions of the products that Deborah recommends so that you can try them and make sure they work for you. The kits have all you need in them to maintain good skin care (about 2wks worth). If they work, great you can later buy the regular sized bottles. One thing I can say for sure is that the Deborah Davis Day Spa has a customer for life. I have found my Facial Heaven. Pros: Great prices, Location, Parking (free by the way) Cons: None
