Businiess name:  The Jewish Community Center of the Delaware Valley

Review content:
The Jewish Community Center of the Delaware Valley on Lower Ferry Road boasts a diverse array of programs for members (Jewish and non-Jewish). To join, the center offers a range of membership types, including one- and-two-parent families, out of region (not from Mercer, Middlesex or Bucks counties) and seniors over 60. While the grounds include basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, a miniature golf course, a softball field and a soccer field, it’s the three pools and the pool facilities that attracted our family. There is an Olympic-size pool with a diving area, a lap pool and an enclosed, two-foot-deep wading pool for children. The pool areas are fully staffed with Red Cross-certified lifeguards to assist swimmers. Shaded cabanas, beach chairs, a picnic grove and a Kosher snack bar allow you to relax and have a good time. Throughout the summer, the JCC will hosts Sunday activities like their 4th of July party. For “golden agers,” retirees gather daily for programs such as exercise classes, chorus, bridge and mah-jongg, movies and literature groups, as well as trips to museums, plays, Atlantic City, dances and picnics. The JCC has something for everyone is a good change to the YMCAs or health clubs since it promotes family and friendliness.
