Al Schneiger's is the most unprofessional painting contractor I have ever had the displeasure of working with. His foul language, lack of self-control and my suspicion of an alcohol or possible substance abuse issue are the main reasons I will never work with, hire or recommend him again. He constantly changed his scheduled appointment dates even with the signed contract with regards to when the work would begin.
Once the work began (which took place during our normal business hours) our retail customers were extremely offended by his language and his behavior. One customer, who was with a young child, almost ran from my store.
He had no concern as to who was within earshot, by that I mean the entire store was forced to listen to the vulgarities that spewed from his mouth non-stop. When he was here, he constantly yelled, using extremely vulgar and profane language. I felt bad for the workmen and hoped at one point, that someone would actually stand up to him. They all seemed accustomed to it.
Several of his employees did however, apologize for his behavior, he on the other hand - never did. The workman did very nice work, however his behavior was very counter-productive.
This is the first time I have ever rated a company. I hope to prevent this from happening to someone else.
I have had many construction contractors perform work at my store, his behavior was totally out of line and uncalled for.
