Businiess name:  Mastro's Steakhouse
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I go to Mastro's four or five times a year, usually on weekends. I have never been disappointed. Some of the service staff are definitely better than others, but it's a range from "really good" to "absolutely stellar." I have never had to wait for a table, whether I arrived 10 minutes before my reservation or 10 minutes late. I am told the steak is excellent, especially the bone-in filet (not on the menu, if your server doesn't bring it up, ask for it), as are the seafood appetizers. However, I am a vegetarian, so I always order side dishes. I still get the same big sizzling plate as everyone else with my sides tastefully arranged into a meal -- so much nicer than some other places were they just give me a bunch of little dishes that don't really fit on the table. The cocktails and desserts are also excellent (although it is hard to save room for dessert). This is a particularly great place to take a group of people with divergent tastes, because there is pretty much something for everybody. It is a little noisy and a little crowded, but the quality of the food and the service can't be beat. Pros: food, food, food Cons: you won't notice any once you taste the food
