I'm sure glad the cable company in town offers music channels because this station is the worst station I ever came across and it almost makes me want to move out of the area. The announcer in the morning is so negative and filled with so much gloom and doom that he makes you want to shoot yourself. He hates everything from religion to the cable company, the government, minorities and you name it. The only thing he is for is gun control. He thinks every one should walk down the street totally armed for combat. Thank God it's illegal to carry a guns in this area though because listening to him, the suicide rate would be so high in Manitowoc. It is funnty though how he brags about throwing his TV out several years ago, but yet everyday he talks about how he watched this show on TV last night. I think he should really go on meds because he is Mr gloom and doom to the max.
Then there's the morning show called ?Money Talks.? What a joke! They'll have like a plumber or a banker on who supposedly is sharing all these helpful tips, but it is nothing more than a half hour commercial.
As for their selection of music, without a doubt it?s the worse you could ever imagine. The old guy in the morning talks about how he hates rap and country, yet he still plays it. One day he said that there is no way he will ever play a country song on that station, and the next tune played was you guess it, a country song.
But if you are into like Michael Jackson, four non blondes, Gomer Pyle and Fagelbert Humpadink, this station is for you.
I guess if I could describe this station in a nutshell, it reminds me of a low grade homemade set up that some grumpy old hobbyist started in his garage, and the only music he has to play is whatever he found on the clearance racks at the local dime store or at a neighborhood rummage sale. That is on the last day of the sale when all the items are half price, including the old 45?s on the floor under the table!!
Pros: Goes off the air at night!
Cons: Can be heard from several block away.
