I was working with an unamed mortgage broker who refused to give me a good faith estimate until "we were closer to closing". Well, now I know why. They were charging me 2 points and my rate seemed high compared to the market rate.
I did some searching and found Inlanta Mortgage online at www.madisonmortgageguys. com and from start to finish I was treated with respect and they didn't try to pull a fast on over me. My closing costs were about average based on other quotes I had received and they weren't charging me points.
I think the one thing that stood out the most was the constant updates I received from my loan officer. I never wondered what was going on. I created an account from within their website and was able to login and see the status of my loan everyday. Perfect!
I would recommend this business to anyone looking for an honest and responsible mortgage banker!
