walking into khyber is like walking into a time warp where guys have longer hair than their female friends and music is more important than a well-made cocktail. every night of the week, khyber is packed with john lennon look-alikes, squeezing in to hear the latest local bands. don't go to this bar looking for a date or a tasty martini; that's what continental is for. go to throw back a couple of obscure import beers and listen to the moody and ecclectic bands.
Pros: hip, fun, great music
Cons: crowded, drinks not that great, expensive
