Review content:
This Kmart has served the Lake County area for years. With Walmart as a neighbor business has obviously slumped; evidenced by comparing parking lots. I PREFER to go to Kmart as I find their salespeople extremely friendly and helpful. They do not take their big name for granted and assume that they can ignore/mistreat customers because of media/reputation. I find I will pay a few extra dollars, but worth it. My question is this? When Tops in Eastlake closed, why didn't Kmart jump on the chance to become a Superstore with groceries like the Kmart in Mentor. Any day of the week Mentor's Kmart will have as many cars as Walmart...because the groceries allow them to compete. Here in Eastlake we have the NEED for a grocery store and I believe if Kmart opened up that door, their business would greatly increase; thereby giving Walmart serious competition...and customers more choices.
