I have driven by Fountainhead for years without stopping, until I learned they were the folks who opened Fat Cat Pizza in Norwalk. Fat Cat is known for it's inexpensive and eclectic wine list so I decided to venture in. It was a saturday, so there was a wine tasting in the store. I tried a great Reisling (a varietal which I didn't think I liked) and an interesting vinho verde from portugal. They do have a different selection form more mainstream stores and while they are not cheap - they have many reasonably priced bottles available. If you're up for it they'll talk wine with you all afternoon.
