My wife and I went to have some good falafel on Sunday morning. We've had falafel before at Falafel king in uptown and we were very impressed. Thought of trying out the new Falafel King outlet on Lyndale. They were serving buffet. We sat there and right away I asked them to get pita bread. After getting some food from buffet We sat there for about 30 minutes and didn't get pita bread even after reminding the guy for a couple of times. I just had falafel without pita bread. We also asked to get more falafel (the buffet container for falafel was empty right after I took 2 pieces when I started half an hour ago) but again that took them forever. I finally got up from my seat and went towards the kitchen and talked with the owner. He said he will get them to our table. You would be surprised to know that even that took them 10 minutes when we were just about to get up and walk. I don't know what took them so long to get the ready-made pita bread to our table. I can once ignore the delay in getting falafel as it takes time in preparing but that too can't take 40 minutes! Very bad experience. I would not recommend this particular restaurant at Lyndale to anyone.
