I don't know what to say about Cinelli's. This was my favorite restaurant in the Triangle - I even celebrated my last birthday there. The pizza is fantastic - by far the best pizza I've found in the Triangle. (I adore Chicago deep dish style pizza.) The service, however, leaves something to be desired. I convinced a bunch of co-workers to go to lunch there one day. The waiter was rude from the start - demanded that I show him where exactly on the menu the thing I wanted to order was. Very strange. One guy ordered a salad/sandwich combo. The waiter brought the salad (along with some other salads for the table). The waiter brought the rest of the food, but not the guy's sandwich. Oh, all of this took forever, and it was very difficult to flag the waiter down to get drink refills. We finally flagged the waiter down again to ask for the checks and about the guy's sandwich. He looked confused, went in the back, brought out the sandwich. Guy said we don't have time, make it to-go. Waiter brought it out to-go along with everyone's check - including the guy who sat there watching the rest of us eat! I said, "Are you kidding?" Guy said, "I don't think I should have to pay for this." So waiter took the check. He came back a minute later and took the sandwich back!!! It was like the soup nazi on Seinfeld!!! I wrote management and asked to be notified of when the waiter is let go so that I can return.
