Review content:
I needed to replace the boards that have rotted on my deck over the last 20 years.
I called Lowe's and Home Depot and not only was I kept on hold for ever but transfered no less than 5 times. It was a total waste of time.
It was only to find out what I needed they did not know if they had and when they found someone who could tell me they didn't have it I had lost my patience.
Then I made a call to Blackstock, all in stock, intelligent, well-schooled lumber people. When I came to pick it up (mind you 14 foot pieces are tricky even with a truck) the helpful person went through picking the best lumber and carefully loading it and tying it up just right for me to drive to Queen Anne Hill.
It was an in and out experience. I dealt only with professionals who knew what they were doing. IF you need lumber for anything skip the Lowe's and Home Depot route and try Blackstock. I was sure impressed and I left without that sick feeling I get a the other places (too much stuff and people to wade through.) Down on Elliott, there's a light to get in and out. Very nice and professional lumber yard.
